Hi Megan, definitely split the dose to help reduce nausea. For the first few weeks, you might feel nauseous regardless, but it should go away. Hope it works out for you!

Hey JohnO, I know how you're feeling - I was on Humira for 3 months before I could tell it was doing anything for me... Like someone else mentioned, weekly injections are an option. Hang in there, things will get better eventually - I wish it could be sooner than later... :S We're always here.

I use the syringe. I have never used the pen, but the cost of both is the same. It just comes down to personal preference, I guess. I have heard that the syringe needle is thinner, and I also like the fact that I can control the speed of the injection.

There is a Cimzia club on the forum, you should check it out. I don't know much about it, other than it is similar to Humira, taken by injection. When I am on pred, I take extra Calcium and Vit D... you should probably do the same. It couldn't hurt to take a multivitamin, too. Hope you...

Hmmm, I've been on Humira for almost a year and have never heard of that service. Could be because I am in Canada, though. I bring my sharps container to my local pharmacy, and they dispose of it.

Why did your doc prescribe it - How bad are your symptoms? If you start at any lower than 40mg, you might not get any relief... You could hold off if you don't think it's necessary, but if you wait too long, you might end up needing 50 or 60mg to get your flare under control. Two weeks is a...
