    Psoriasis--from Humira?

I have been on Humira for the past 4 years for my Crohn's, and it works well for me and after my last colonoscopy a year ago, my doctor said I was in remission. A few months ago I noticed a scaly patch on my scalp, got referred to a dermatologist and was advised it was plaque psoriasis. I have...

    Does Humira injections really hurt?

Yes, it does hurt, much like others have said, like a bee sting....but that's only for 10 seconds or so...and then the pain is gone. I have been on Humira for almost 2 years and the good effects of it far outweigh the few seconds of pain. I always have a moment where I have to take a deep...

First Dose of Humira and Work

I always feel sick the next day and extremely fatigued for about 3 days. I do my shot at 4:30 pm on Friday right after I get home from work after I let it warm up to room temp and then take it easy on Saturday. This has worked for me the last 3 times. Good luck!

    Swollen glands in throat/ears--prednisone

Thanks for your reply Jennifer. My GP couldn't find anything wrong but could see that I was swollen. Told me to come back in a few days if I didn't get better. No infections of any kind. I started at 40 mg and then tapered every week by 10 until I got to 20 and then went to 15, 10, and now...

    Swollen glands in throat/ears--prednisone

Hi everyone: I was diagnosed with Crohn's about 8 weeks ago after a second colonscopy and several years of problems. When I first started the Prednisone I was so emotional and moody I could hardly function. Then the eating started and I can't stop. I can't sleep, have my heart pounding and...
