I am very happy to hear this. My son started Humira in February after Remicade failed. I am always looking for a positive story. So many just frighten me even more.

Thank you for the replies - feeling much better. I think I have gone off the deep end with precautions. He tolerates all leafy vegetables without any problem. He has never had D - only blockage due to the stricture. Crabby - he attends Cal Poly (my husband I both went there too!) He loves...

    Remicade and Acne?

You could also be having the acne because you are coming off the pred. This happened with my son. Our dermatologist called it pred. Rebound and she indicated it is very common. It took about 10 weeks but did resolve.

    Remicade/Methotrexate Combination Question

Hi all - my son received his third loading dose of Remicade last Monday. The infusion went fine. Yesterday he woke up, felt nauseous and had a temp of 101.4. He took two tylenol and three hours later his temp was down to 99.5 and two hours after that it was totally normal and he felt fine...

Outside of being a bit lethargic and anemic he was symptom free - until the stricture at his terminal ileum (unknown to any of us) created a blockage. This happened three times - each one week apart. On the third time the doctor ordered the...
