consistency was very firm. I could tip the jar over and nothing would run out. Maybe I will add a little sugar next time before I make it to give the bacteria more food. Temperature looks good. I spot checked and it was between 110 and 120

Molecular and Phenotypic Characterization of Escherichia coli Associated with Granulomatous Colitis of Boxer Dogs

so is Enterome the only company trialing a FimH blocker? I read their first trial, but that only talked about safety and didn't discuss any changes in CD for paitents given doses. https://academic.oup.com/ecco-jcc/article/14/Supplement_1/S479/5705076

Molecular and Phenotypic Characterization of Escherichia coli Associated with Granulomatous Colitis of Boxer Dogs

what really missing in all of this is the control. We are really only analyzing people with crohns against other people with crohns. It would be really helpful if someone could perform some large scale analysis and include a group of people some with crohns others without and try and track the...

just completed the 24 hours yogurt, looks good. I had to macguyver the machine to get the temperature to work. I used whole milk and the new sachets this time, and it looks good. I will eat it tomorrow and Saturday and report back. Seriously, why hasn't a company made a cheap yogurt maker...

I don't necessarily 100% agree with you. This is a message board and not a peer reviewed journal article. When someone posts something it is not necessarily required that they post every source. I have read many of Kiny's posts, and Kiny has posted plenty of sources in the past that I don't...

I bought the eurovision yogurt maker over the weekend because it was on amazon and cheap. First batch with raw goats milk was a complete failure, product ended up liquidy even after 24 hours. I think its getting too hot, so I ordered a thermometer to check. Today doing a batch with whole milk...

Molecular and Phenotypic Characterization of Escherichia coli Associated with Granulomatous Colitis of Boxer Dogs

I appreciate all insights on this topic, as there is no cure the cause is not known. thus everything is conjecture at this point. I view these discussions as academic and I don't think this is a place to argue, but learn.

Funny, if you look at the 24 yogurt websites is says to use the one I bought first and not to use the one you bought.

mopop, thanks for replying so fast and thanks for contributing. If this even works for 1% of the people with crohns that is a huge win. I willing to give it a try and give a second opinion.

Just for those who are curious, I bought a yogurt maker and am making 24 hour yogurt right now from raw goats milk right now. I will report back. I have mild crohns, really mild. So I may not be as good as a test candidate. Hey mopop, how long did it take for you to notice the effects from...

you need to provide some more info! like when are you eating, breakfast, etc. Are you only eating yogurt or do you eat other food? Are you on any meds other than yogurt? What was the severity of your crohns?

Kiny, D-mannose , the readily available supplement? I remember reading something about that a while ago and put it in my supplements to try book. It is approved for over the counter consumption, so the safety profile is known, but not at high doses as you stated. Treatments are highly dose...

But, if it is pathogen related then programs like the Jin Protocol or other long term anti/viral/bacterial protocols could be beneficial. So, something like cycling wormood 10 wks on 10 wks off or a bismuth cycle could be effective. There are several studies showing long term bismuth use had...

Molecular and Phenotypic Characterization of Escherichia coli Associated with Granulomatous Colitis of Boxer Dogs

I also believe this has nothing to do with a disorder or some defect in a person. I never had a single symptom in my life for 40+ years. Now, it could be that I just didn't exhibit symptoms, but I don't see how that is likely. I think an event occurs which makes what ever the pathogen is take...
