Have they conducted any scopes or scans or fecal tests to see how well the Humira is working?

    SSI Vaccine Trial

I'm glad to hear your sig went well Wendy! It sucks that you're going to have to change things up a bit. :( Unfortunately, this is the hard part of early stage trials as the companies have to work through kinks and regulatory issues. Knowing the folks at Qu Biologics like I do, I have little...

    Withdrawal symptoms

"Nothing" is not a correct answer. I'd get a second opinion regarding methotrexate, various mesalamine formulations, and I would strongly suggest researching enteral nutrition and medical marijuana.

    Essential Oil Use

I can't comment on his essential oil use. However, would you like to share what meds he is on, what supplements he takes, and what his symptoms are? Some of us may be able to offer some perspective there to help reduce those flareups.

I have no problem with a balloon dialation being done to attempt to wide the intestines, but you also need to be on something like Cimzia or Remicade, or whatever to stop the active inflammation.

    Cryotherapy

I'm not sure I can see how it would help someone with IBD. What's the theory?

    Possible Crohn's

Welcome to the community. Have the doctors mentioned Crohn's as a possibility? Based upon everything you describe thus far, I'd suspect it's something else.

Does anyone have any links for paleo friendly bread or tortilla-like food that can be purchased pre-made? Thanks!

Can a small bowel resection can cause chronic inflammation?

This is what people don't understand though. Because you chose not to control the inflammation, over time this lead bacterial overgrowth, scarring, blockages (which are life threatening situations people die from) and finally, resection. You're now removing parts of your intestines and will...
