    Thanks for reply. Yes multiple resections over 10 years - half small bowel removed in one go, then third of what was left and so on. No idea how much in total was removed but remaining has been measured via small bowel barium meals etc and was shown to be approx 1m. Most of colon remains - 1...

    Hi all New here. Has anyone out there ended up with short bowel syndrome (SBS) as a result of extensive surgery? I have approx 1m of small bowel left and SBS as a result and would like to hear from anyone else with SBS for mutual support. Hope to hear from you
