Usually the Prednisone should kick in, in a week. I just tapered to 30mg, and have been feeling better. Keep us posted!

I got out of the hospital on Sunday, and have been trying to rest since then. The pain is still there, and the steroids are not helping with it :/

Please take her to the ER, even a closer one. She needs IVs for fluids, and very possibly some other medication - I was in the same condition Thursday night, and I asked my mom to take me to the hospital on Friday.

So, I was in the hospital from Friday to today, and today I'm feeling better. They kept me on IV and steroids, as well as antibiotics because my WBC were reaaaaaally low. Hopefully tomorrow I'll feel better.

Melatonin is supposedly natural, and will stabilise your sleep / awake cycle. It shouldn't interfere with anything, I don't think, but still ask your doctor tomorrow.

The prednisone will do that to you, I was on it for about a month and had a really hard time fixing my sleep schedule. Try melatonin? I know it's bland, but still...

But are there any other meds aside from Humira? Honestly, I'm not ready to have injections, or to think about getting a surgery, just because this is not Crohn's.

I'll have my appointment next week, and so far the medications were working fine. I took steroids for about a week, then decreased my doses, and now the pain in my upper abdomen is back. I'm so tired of this :/
