Hi guys Just wondering if any of you ever have had burning lips while on prednisone. At the moment my burning lips could be nutrition related, waiting for bloods to be back this evening. but I noticed it is one of the side effects of prednisone.

I am tapering down 5mg every five days but my pharmacist said that when i reach 10 or 5mg to tell the doctor to go down slower, i am on 35mg now.

the face puffiness went away for me anyway after the first time i took it. Not getting the same puffiness this time, try and limit your intake of salt, that causes fluid retention.

i feel your pain, i had to skip mine last night because of BMs, try and just to take it once anytime in the day that you are free for a BM, or maybe get the doc to prescribe imodium so that you can take it even the first day? maybe that might help
