So with Colostomy bags mainly being non-drainable, does this mean they have control of the waste output? Or is it free-running like with the ileostomy patients? I just don't understand why they would use closed bags.

Great thread, Kelly. I have been particularly paranoid the past night or so about what I've been wearing with my stoma. I tend to wear tight fitted t-shirts. If I didn't know you had a stoma, I wouldn't be able to notice at all :)
