I agree with welsh bird, everyone is different. I have been sick as a dog and blood work looked fine....and I have been not so ill, and blood work looked terrible. Good luck

Hey Porter, I had a scope one time that sent me over the edge. I ended up in the hospital for about 5 days because of the pain and vomiting that followed my procedure. No blockage, just a lot of inflammation and pain. I hope you get to feeling better soon.

I definatly think your doing the right thing, a second opinion is always a good thing. If your obstructed, youd be pretty sick....or getting there atleast. I would definately move quickly to the ER if things do progress with vomiting, severe pain, fever, ect. Otherwise if you can wait for that...

I cant sleep either, and Ive only had one dose of Remicade. I think its more due to the Prednisone for my sleep problems, however, I take Amatriptaline for sleep and it really helps. Its actually a depression med, but has great sleeping effects. The only issue is, if not taken early....you will...

I am on Pred also, and suffer with terrible anxiety and insomnia. I take something called amitriptaline, its a sleep aide, calms me down and makes the pred much more tolerable....but I still have my days....just the way of the meds. Good luck
