I have to wonder if I am the only one who does this.

How many of us have eaten something we should not have during the Holiday and are paying the price for it right now?

I dont really have an option thankfully. I did eat things I normally cant but suprisingly Im okay and actually gained 3lbs :) according to my doc only 7 lbs. more to go!

Yep, me!! Right here, and regreting it thats for sure!! I ate Prime Rib, only a little bit, but it was enough to put me over the edge....sure was good though~

TMI warning.

I never knew turkey could come out looking exactly as it did going in.

Nothing got stuck...therefore, it was worth it! Some extra bathroom time? Still worth it.

One or two rice krispie treats are okay.....but days of eating them....welllll....I was late to work this morning....I did not even bother with turkey. It always upsets my stomach.

Me too- Back to the medical day unit today (FULL of gastro patients, having done the same), and came back out with my Pred back on 40mg- Was it worth it? Noooo way!

I ate plain turkey and potatoes all through the holidays. Okay, I had a few cookies too, but not enough to cause myself problems. Food-wise, I was pretty good. The stress of the holidays, however, did cause me some extra bathroom time.

Ugh, everything at Christmas has either raisins or nuts in which are killers!
But the Christmas pudding was soooooo worth it!

I'm the one who cooks all of the big holiday meals and have been doing so since I was 16. Because I make everything (right down to the cranberry sauce) I know all of it is safe.

I ate safe things of what I usually do. I normally try to eat small meals throughout the day to digest things easier. The problem I had with the Christams weekend was that I was eating big meals throughout the whole day + snacks in between! There was just sooo much food. I made sure to wear an outfit with room for bloat expansion! Gotta love the sweater dresses, they come in handy for times like that! Usually my tummy is flat but when I eat too much at once, my tummy looks like I am 6 months prego!

went for my first indian with friends since being diagnosed last night omg i am suffering with wind and pain tonight and all i had was boiled rice & tandorri meat
