I'm afraid, I'm not sure. I do know though that my UC has moved around a bit since I was diagnosed in 1996. However, I have also been seen by two different GI doctors. The best I can say is that each person is different. Wish I could help more. Cross-stitch

I had a routine colonoscopy done the last day in September and had no problem at all. I was diagnosed over 20 years ago and my GI had been bugging me to do it. I too am in remission although, he did find some inflammation. I'm sure all will be fine with you too! Take care! :)
