    Did I just poo myself at 31? *descriptive*

    I known this is old but I want to tell you I am a 28 year old wife and mother of 2. I often miss out on my kids activities because I've had an accident. Urgency is a huge issue with me as well as blood. I often wonder if I'm the only person who has urgency issues like me...it's often daily that...

    Years w Crohn's & Current Age????

    I was diagnosed roughly 5 years ago (i can't remember if I was diagnosed in 2009 or if i became symptomatic in 2009). I went a year with severe symptoms before getting a proper diagnosis. Had stomach issues since high school and started passing blood after I had my son in 2006. I'm going on 28...

    Black blood and...puss?

    I think I've ventured past localized large intestine flareup and I'm starting to think the disease has spread. I was on Remicade which was working wonders but I became highly allergic to it when I got pregnant. I'm now on lialda and humira which I have relief for a good week and a half but a few...

    Anyone else have issues (pre eclampsia ect)

    I'm not sure how to post pictures... it was a messy labor and delivery. Not something I ever expected I'd have to go through. The worst was having her wheeled off to the nicu and not being allowed to see her for 24 hrs due to having to be on magnesium. All is well though. I'm amazed how much...

    Anyone else have issues (pre eclampsia ect)

    I was seeing maternal fetal medicine in the hospital during my pregnancy, everything was going well until my last growth scan. Turns out I became pre eclamptic (the placenta became toxic it came on so fast and became so bad that I had to be induced asap). It was also determined that my baby...

    Antibiotics

    Is there a way to take antibiotics and not have severe watery bloody diarrhea? Is there something I can take with them? I'm becoming dehydrated since iccan't drink water as fast as I loose it and the diarrhea is so bad it's almost flare like (urgency, it's irritated my system so now it's bloody...

    Crohns and third trimester

    Well GI wasn't to happy with how things are going. I think he's really frustraited with me. When he became my GI i was at a point of either getting surgery or trying the hard drugs. We've been able to get to a manageable point in my treatement with drugs (before pregnancy it was Remicade, 6mp...

    Crohns and third trimester

    I am entering in third trimester (I'm 27 weeks and 3 days today) and I've noticed since I had some contraction like pain last week (constant back pain for 3 hours with a few back tightening/stomach tightening) and ever since I've had diarrhea. It's not terrible, just in the morning. It's also...

    Oh noes!

    I forgot to do my injection last night. It was a busy day with my son (field trip then 4h) and pair that with the pregnancy i was exhasted and passed out. I feel stupid because i was reminding myself all day that it's injection day and I still didn't do it. I'm sitting here warming my pen now...

    I am not one of the lucky ones

    I got in touch with each of my Dr's today. My GI was really upset I was told to come off the 6mp and we discussed about maybe getting back on it in the second trimester but I was ultimately told it was my decision so my fiance and I are going to talk about it tonight. In the meantime he got in...

    I am not one of the lucky ones

    I am 9 weeks along today and I am in a flare. My intestine feel swollen and I'm having bloody diarrhea at least twice a day, sometimes more. Along with that i get very gassy which is rather painful. Also lucky me my insurance denied refilling the lialda because they have to talk to my Dr and...

    Insurance wants to drop me

    I'm pretty angry. I work part time so I qualify for medicaid (the only way I could afford my treatments). Anyway now I am pregnant. High risk due to my crohns disease and I'm still slightly flaring. I go to the bathroom at least 3 times, diarrhea only and it's bloody. Anyway I have to reapply...

    Remicade lialda and 6mp + pregnant

    I am going on 7 weeks pregnant. I was cleared by both my GI and ob/gun for both lialda and Remicade during pregnancy however my OB told me to come off 6mp(mercaptipourine) while my GI said to continue it. My OB stated that there is a high risk of miscarriages while taking 6mp, though he did also...

    ::update:: and now...lupus

    Alright so the Dr said today I don't have lupus...I have drug induced lupus. The Remicade is causing lupus like symptoms (joint pain etc) however the Remicade has improved my quality of life and the symptoms aren't bad so I'm staying on the Remicade and will see the rheumatologist every few...

    ::update:: and now...lupus

    I dont think I have lupus, at least not "real" lupus. He wasnt very clear in the voicemail. I beleive the last vial that the results came back for was checking my medicine, when he left the message he said "the last results came in abnormal im not sure what that means for your medicine..." so if...

    ::update:: and now...lupus

    Well I saw the rhumatologist. I confused him but overall he was not concerned. He still did a blood panel and a urinalysis. When the blood work started coming back everything was normal the last one came back and it was abnormal. He asked me to come in sooner than planned. Im not sure exactly...

    And now...lupus

    Thanks for clearing that up for me and talking me off the ledge. I see the rheumatologist next Thursday so well see how that goes. It probably is the Remicade causing issues which would suck since its really working great for me. No sense in freaking out now though.
