I know for me, I couldn't eat anything ruffage...peanuts, lettuce, etc. Anything that would irritate the bowel in any way. You're all absolutely right, !8 yrs experience with Prednisone...for such a little pill, it sure has big effects. Ree Ree couldn't be more correct in saying never ever just stop taking prednisone...Big huge mistake. They have to taper you off that medication...but I think Ree just mentioned...

Not everyone does have to wear pouches the rest of their lives. It depends how advanced you are in your disease. In my case I do have to wear mine the rest of my life. It doesnt affect me or anything I do. Actually, I can do more now, then I ever could before having the surgery. I can eat...
