    False Negative for Opiates

Would they be able to do bloodwork before cutting you off at least? I hate that doctors won't give us the benefit of the doubt and immediately think they are being sold :(

Awesome, thank you so much. Does my GI fill it out, or does my family doctor do it?

    Canadian disability tax credit..

Just wondering if Crohn's counts for the DTC? It says bowel issues, but not specifics. Thanks :)

Sticky Medical Marijuana for Crohn's Disease and Ulcerative Colitis

I have a Davinci Ascent vaporizer. It is probably one of the best investments I have made. When done vaping, the cannabis is almost a tobacco like colour. I save it and then cook it in oil, and strain it then put the oil into capsules. There are still CBDs left in the cannabis. Or you can just...

Early mornings are tough on my tummy- what about you?

Mornings for me, especially early ones. I find if I don't get enough sleep, my guts decide to hate me. Usually go 2-3 times in the first hour up

Did I do the wrong thing?

I don't think it would have made a big difference. The Levsin would help to slow your bowels not speed it up. Hope you get relief soon Ron

Sticky Medical Marijuana for Crohn's Disease and Ulcerative Colitis

It would be the raw, fresh plant. You can juice it from what I hear and has great benefits. Unfortunatley in Canada, unless you are allowed to grow for yourself, or know someone who does, you can't get your hands on fresh plant legally :(

    Medicines and marijuana

I have smoked MM on both Entocort and Pentasa and had no adverse effects with either. Not sure about the cotroloc though

    Diagnosed, undiagnosed, diagnosed, undiagnosed....

Oh wow! Many ((((hugs))))! I was told I also don't "look" like a crohns patient. My inflammation levels don't even show up in my blood, but my CT scan says different. I hope you can get answers soon, really sucks not knowing what's going on :(

Anyone on Remicade in the Edmonton Area?

No I haven't heard of the ride, I may look into it because it's something my mom would love!

It took awhile, but the Crohn's has presented itself with a vengence

Saw my GI today, and now have a course of action. She is thinking it has been simmering for a long time and has finally decided to make itself known. She apologized for making me wait so long but she had to be sure. Well the scan I had the beginning of October showed it without a doubt. Because...

Anyone on Remicade in the Edmonton Area?

I guess I should be more specific, like how are the infusion centers, the nurses and such? Thanks :)

Anyone on Remicade in the Edmonton Area?

My GI will be putting me on Remicade and just wondering what to expect? Thanks in advance!

If you are flaring Ron it is definitely possible. I know for quite awhile all my food would come out in chewed up bits

    Long-term use of flagyl?

Cannabis is my life saver! It helps my pain and slows down my guts so I'm not in the washroom as often. It hasn't helped me acheive remission alone, but from what I have read, it can work in tandem and as a catalyst to help your meds work even better.
