    hello, I am very interested in this thread, have posted before, love this group! my son (17 years old with down syndrome and autism) has not been diagnosed w crohns so we are getting second opinion but in the mean time on july 3 this year he had a swollen scrotum also and it had drainage etc...

They are saying that they can't do pill cam during the scopes because of something having to do with the "air" they have to use for colonoscopy? not sure but they said they could do a separate pill cam later where they put him to sleep for a short...

    Oh thank you so much for your reply! they first did the stool test showing that there is inflammation but not how high. this time they will test (monday) the test showing how high. she didnt say biopsy showed how high the inflammation was either. blood work so far has not shown inflammation...
