    I am wondering in a general sense, if stool passes through a fistula does that mean there will be pus drainage (ie infection)? Is it possible for stool to pass through without pus? And when people start remicade, do they have to be clear of any pus?

    Remicade and epithelial lining

    Hi My Dr mentioned the epithelial lining which forms in a fistula tract over time sometimes prevents it from healing. If someone takes remicade, does the tract close completely and if so how? Or do you need to leave seton in always, even if tract collapses?
