    Yes, I already use the card. And my out-of-pocket expense this year went up from $500 to $3,060. The card is a one-time-a-year, $20,000.00 maximum. Every injection is $23,947.00 and I'm supposed to have four.

    I'm supposed to have 4 injections a year but due to the ridiculous cost per injection I can afford only one. I get it in January and I'm usually good until October and then I have to do a dose of prednisone to hold me over until January.

    I had terrible fissures. I had a severe reaction to Remicade so I was put in the study to approve Stelara for Crohns and my fissures completely healed.

    Switching from Remicade to Stelara

    Did your daughter switch to the Stelara? If so, how is she doing with it? I was in the drug trial for Stelara and I've been in remission for 2 years. The only side effects I've had are small skin growths easily taken care of at the dermatologist.

    I've been in remission with Stelara for 2 years now. I get only one injection a year of the Stelara instead of the four I should have due to the outrageous cost but the one with diet monitoring has worked.
