I have stretch marks aswell so far I havn't found anything to get rid of them co completely but I have found that moisturisers with cocoa butter in help and also an oil in the uk called bio oil is brilliant but don't know if you can get hold of it.

Palmers cocoa butter is the best - accept no substitutes! Won't get rid of them but will help fade them.

Also apply generously when you are in a "growth period." I did while I was pregnant and don't have one single stretch mark from that time. All of mine are from quick growth spurts when I was a kid.

Prednisone is a main cause of stretch marks as it makes you retain water rather quickly and your skin stretches past its limit. I have stretchmarks from being on high doses of Pred.

Stretchmarks mean that the skin is damaged and they cannot be repaired. There are creams mentioned above that can help reduce the appearance/color but will not get rid of them. The only way to be rid of them would be to cut away the damaged skin but then you'd have a scar to repair from doing that by using a laser. Far too costly and not practical.

I have them everywhere.
I use unrefined shea butter, and it really helps with the appearance of them. Most of mine have now faded from bright red/pink to a shiny silver.

The branded Bio Oil personally I can vouch for, it is wonderful! Takes time but they do start to fade. I've been told the cheaper versions are just as good.
