Hi everyone,

First time here, my cousin sent me info regarding your forum ( I didn't even know you existed)! I have had Crohns and Ulcerative Colitis for 17 years. It went into remission years ago and was free of symptoms, however a year and a half ago started a new job which was VERY stressful and my symptoms came back. I have tried alot of things, Remicadee was the wonder drug for me, I was on it for about 7 months and then I developed an allergy to it. Now I am going to start Humira. I look forward to reading all of your posts, thankful now that someone else understands the pain and discomfort that we all go through. My family is very supportive but I worry sometimes they will get tired of me being sick and tired.

Hello and welcome to the forum :)

I am sorry to hear that the tum acted up on you again. I don't have any experience with Humira myself but do check out our sub forum for this to get more info about it: http://www.crohnsforum.com/forumdisplay.php?f=59. Do you follow any type of diet at all? Do you know whether your vitamin levels are ever checked? Please do not worry about your family, you cannot help that you have this disease and I am sure they only hope that you can be feeling better for yourself and your well being and not for themselves.

There is a lot of helpful info and support here hun so do have a good look around.

I pray that Humira ends up being your wonder drug and you're back in remission soon.

Please keep us updated and let us know if there's anything we can do to support you better.

All my best to you.
