6-MP How bad are the side effects ?

Crohns sense 2005, remicade, colon resection then Humyra and now it's not working so 6-MP gets a shot. Has anyone had much luck controlling their crohns with diet or medical marijuana

I've not had much luck with diet on its own but I continue to make healthier food choices. A combination of diet and meds seems to be working well. Never tried MM.

I have been on 6-mp for 3 months, no side effects yet. Also started Humira EOW 2 months ago. Initially the combo worked great for the first month and got feeling descent. But hasn't changed much lately.

I've been on 50mg of 6-mp for almost a year now, the side effects have been minimal, mainly just occasional nausea. It is scary when you start because it is also used as a chemo drug, but that's in much higher doses and along with other strong medication.
