A little discouraged!

I am feeling a little discouraged! I was diagnosed beginning of September with Crohn's of my terminal ileum, ascending colon and descending colon. I have been on 9mg entocort, 4.8mg mesalamine (since beginning of September) and just started on imuran 25mg to start and slowly build up to 150mg daily. I still feel as thought I have more bad days than good in terms of the BM's, although most of my pain and cramps have subsided. Is this normal? Or should I be considering a different treatment plan? Was going to hold off until I am taking the full dose of imuran before talking to my GI doc about it, or should I have expected more change already?

It's still very early in your treatment and you also could be getting used to drug side effects. Don't give up hope by any means, in a matter of weeks you may be feeling much better.
