After being constipated for 3 days I finally went to the bathroom.... but it was very loose and mostly mucus. I would say there was more mucus than actual poop. I've never had anything like it before. O.O Does anyone know what this could mean?

I've had that too. I'm not sure, but have been told before that it's a possibility that the mucus is showing that your system is trying to heal itself. I do know that my doctor has been more concerned about the passing of blood rather than the passing of mucus.

Okay. So... if the pain in my intestines is just getting worse. There is a lot of noise and i can basically pinpoint where the noise is and when it makes noises it hurts. Do you think the ER is a good idea?

Your decision. However, if the pain is getting unbearable then I would absolutely say to go! But, the best thing to do is to contact your medical clinic for sure. Please keep us updated. Xxxx

it is just concerning me that the area where i had surgery is slightly boated and if i press on the area it hurts and also releases and makes a sound. Could this be a stricture?

I called the on call GI I have. She is going to talk with the doctor but made it sound like I'm going to have to go in. :/

I used to pass a lot of mucus. I would constantly have the feeling of urgency and go to the bathroom and just have a bunch of mucus come out. I'm not really sure why it was happening. I told my doctor and it seemed like this was a normal part having IBD. They do tend to be more concerned with blood than anything.

I will say after it not happening for months, I took Mucinex for a cold and passed a ton of mucus a few weeks ago. May be related to certain foods and OTC meds... I just never bothered to take the time to look for connections.
