So for about the last 3 weeks I have been in unbearable pain. my joints were hurting, my back was hurting and in general i just felt like poop. Last week as most of you know, I was admitted into the hospital for pancreatitis. I was in the hospital for 5 days. After discharge I was still having bad back pain and my pancreas continued to spasm (still is just not as much). Today I went to an orthopedic doctor because my back pain was through the roof. He did x-rays and as it turns out I have severe scoliosis and I have probably had it for a long time. I know its not related to Crohn's so I was a little iffy putting it on here, but I am so stressed out about it. I can't handle very much more bad news. in the last month I have recieved 3 new diagnosis's, all of which are things that I will always have to worry about. On top of Chrohn"s. I am trying not to complain because I know that there are people on this forum that are much worse off than I am. I am getting an MRI this week to see the extent of the damage done to my spine and try to figure out the best way to correct it. Worse case scenario is surgery, best case is physical therapy.
I am sorry this post isn't Crohn's related just really needed to get it off my chest, thanks for reading

afidz, any new condition that one of us has is important to the rest of us here. After all, we're one big family here. I hope everything works out for you and this new problem doesn't throw your Crohns for a loop.

Afidz, we care more about you than Crohn's! :p You can post about anything; we'll be here for you.

I really hope it's not too bad. Fingers crossed for good MRI results. Please let us know!

:ghug:

I wish I could reach through this computer and give you a REAL hug.

I am positive you already know what a big loving family this Forum can be during the good times and bad. Never be afraid to share with us, Crohn's or not.

Hoping the MRI is on the lighter side of things...please keep us posted afidz

Thanks guys, its been a pretty discouraging day. My family isn't really showing support, they are all dating the same thing, its nice to come here and have a place to talk freely and have support

i took an anti inflammatory y, i yesterday, followed by a muscle relaxer last night. Slept like a baby for the first time in a month. I feel like a whole new person today. Amazing
