Yesterday after pains in the night , there was obvious blood in the stool but no d.
Today again after pains in the night and now a bit during the day and again blood in the stool, still no d.
Only two bm's each day but the second bm is very late into the night, not usual for me.
Each time it is formed and floating in the toilet.
Wonder if this is crohn's striking again.
I have had respite for a number of weeks now and will be seeing the GI early March for follow up of a breath test after triple therapy for H.pylori eradication . I am thinking to wait and see with the current symptoms.
Maybe they will go away by then.
This has been preceded by a bright red rash under each eye with swelling which was disgnosed as dermatitis.
I have had this several times over the last four months but this is the worst and needed medical attention since it affected both eyes.
Treatment is betamethasone ointment and anti histamine eye drops.
Mostly it is responding to treatment but seems to recur at night.
This morning the skin was peeling in that area.
I hope this diagnosis is correct and that it is not related to the Crohn's.
I do not use cosmetics and only use water on my face, currently discontinued on the doctor's advice.
So I am using dermatologist and ophthalmologist tested face wipes., but not touching the inflamed area.This area I use the betamethasone ointment only.
Feeling a bit puzzled by these symptoms.
Wonder if anyone else has had this type of rash.,and the other symptoms.

When I was first diagnosed with Crohn's I had the blood in my stool, and almost always had to go at night, and it was never diarrhea. I had eye issues, but mine was more like a sty than a rash, and right on my eye lid (only on the right eye).

Sorry I can't be more helpful, hope it's not Crohn's related and that you get better soon..
