I'm not sure if I have Crohn's disease yet. But I got diagnosed with anal abscess on 20 Jan. I had stomach pain and digestive problems, one week before I had unprotected oral and anal sex.(I know it was stupid)... so both could be the reason... My stomach and abdomen below stomach are still painful and worsening.

But my anal abscess got less painful. on 24th Jan my doctor told me to get surgery while it was still painful. I hesitated so I got antibiotics and sit in hot bath with potassium permanganate. I could feel the string or tube from the abscess to the inside of my body at the beginning. Gradually the anal abscess got smaller on the outside, but I felt the hard bump spreading across the very front middle line of my anus, and days after, I could also feel soft and thickening tubes going from the lump to the deeper part of my right ass. I also got some soreness in various parts of my ass.
While I revisit my doctor he looked at the ultrasound image and felt the lump, and told me now it's past the best time for the surgery. Now I have to wait till it gets painful again. But now Ican feel the lump deeper near my anus the size of a larger peanut, and those soft tubes forming in my ass, I feel quite worried. What is your experience ?? are those tubes becoming complex fistula? will they be cut when I have the surgery? should I get the surgery now?

I would say yes that you should have the surgery as a precaution so it doesn't get worse. Let us know how you are.

Get the surgery. It will probably only get worse if you don't. These problems just keep pushing pus out into different areas and make more fistulas. They are stubborn and you don't want them. Been there! I tried toughing it out because I mistakenly thought I had hemi's. I should have gone to the doctor sooner and it would have prevented a lot of complications. I hope this helps.

Best wishes,

Thank you all for the comments. I asked several doctors, some examined my problem with fingers, they said now the abscess is small, and asked me to come back when it got bigger and painful again. I think I might need to see some other doctor. Is there a specific test I could ask for to verify the situation?
I still get soreness in my glutes and thigh muscle...
