Absorbtion issues

I was wondering if anyone else has absorbtion issues with their crohns? I know it can affect certain vitamines that are absorbed into your system as the certian area that absorbs certain vitamines and etc. are damaged. But I think mine goes as far as not absorbing the medication either. I have not been responding to any of the drugs the doctors have prescribed for me. Pain meds for instance..... Im usualy on morphine injections or demerol or dilaudid and they usualy work quite well for controling the pain. But awhile back the doctor tried me on morphine pills of the same strength and I swear they worked not one bit. Could this be because my body wont absorb them?

I cant fully explain it... but i do not absorb potassium. i hate it, and eat all my potassium rich foods to try to ward off the muscle cramps and spasms. That seems to be my main challenge.
It makes sense though if certain parts absorb certain nutrients, then that may be why i struggle with that particular vitamin.
I think my calcium is good, i have never broken anything or came even close. All the women in my immediate family have bone loss in their jaws, and they cant keep their teeth... but i just had mine x-rayed.. cause i need two teeth replaced, and the dentist said i had perfect bones for the implants. So that was nice to know
