Acid Reflux or Crohns?

Hi all,
On 12th this wednesday come I have test Barium follow through done, last week or so I had vomit and feel during day, I have flare up to.

1, Should I going to DRs before or after?
2, Should I mention to Wednesday?

On occassion I had trouble swallow liquid.

In November when I was not able to keep down any liquids or food and continually was nauseous I was told by my specialist to go to the ER and they would order tests. I was admitted shortly after and was there for a week in the hospital. I had inflamation in my stomach and duodenum. I was glad that I went when I did because it got progressively worse within a few days. It was to the point where I was very ill and in a lot of pain. I normally have difficulty with my terminal ileum, so this came as a shock to me and my family. I would say to call your doctor and see what there opinion is.

Should I tell Gi in few months above trouble with swallow and vomit?

Hi Josephine,
yes you should mention this to the Doctors, I think not being able to swallow at times must be a terrible feeling.
Don't forget that even though you have IBD, not everything that makes you feel unwell will be as result of this, it may be, but really unless its known to be, then it needs to be investigated.

thank you Rossy I have Doctors appt today at 2:30 pm.

Back with GPs first try to up 20mg to 40 mg Pantoprazole and see if that help if not wait to see Gast in month or two and spill my guts about it. If it get worse phone Gast which will probably do or going back to GP.

Soon or later Camera down my throat I think.

That will be for the heartburn or GERD so hopefully you'll get some relief with that, hope it helps your swallowing as well, but yep if it does'nt, phone your Gastro, cheers

let your docs know it is most likely related to crohn's i have it and it sucks most of the time i have it i throw up stomach acid and it hurts good luck to you and please tell your doc

Thank you B I am going give Gast ring sometime this week. When I mention to Nurse pr that GP, she look alarm and then I thought O maybe should said soon.
