Adalimamab and pregnancy

Hi all. Iv been taking weekly adalimamab injections for the past 3 years. I feel better than i have ever felt. I recently turned 30 and feel it is the righrt time to try for a baby. I am in a long term relationship and my boyfriend is well aware there could b problems. Is any1 taking these injections or has taken them while pregnant. It scares me to think about coming off it cuz my life has changed for the better so much. I have spoke to my consultant about my worries and he said that this is the right time to do it cuz i feel so good. Any advise would be great as this is such a big deal in my life and i am a bit freaked out.

I too had your concerns when I was trying to get pregnant. My doctor convinced me to stay on my Humira. I came off about a month or two before my son was born and went back on about two weeks after he was born. I had no crohns (or any other) complications. I didn't breast feed because I was really worried about the lack of research on the matter but he is a very healthy 17 month old now. I say GO FOR IT!!!
