Quite a long time since my operation, I was around 7 and a half stone when I got on that table.

I'm now over 12 stone, good steady diet, lots of exercise!

Decided to pose in the gyms mirror, no one was there so it's not too gay! But I've added on so much good weight, I used to be skinny little stick at 7 stones, with a chubby moon face!

ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE! Crohn's isn't the end, it's just an obstacle! :D

Thanks! Eat regular, every 2 - 3 hours small meals, lots of protein, white meats, complex carbs - brown bread, wholemeal etc, and good fats - nuts/fish etc! Try it, kept my flares down completely! :)

hey bobby, do you remember how long after your op that you found it ok to eat wholemeal and brown bread?? I really wanna gain some weight back and can eat white meats, and get lots of protein in my diet, it's only been a few months since my surgery but wholemeal is a big no no atm!

Have you tried wholemeal pasta? I'm not sure sure how long acruately, try maybe just a bite of wholemeal bread, sounds silly but build your self up?

Yay! Good on ya bobby......................and good on you for standing by your convictions!

Lookin' good. :)

Done some research and it says that eating a high protein diet is very beneficial as your small intestine struggles to absorb the protein so you have to make sure you eat more than you need so that your body absorbs enough!
