HiI am new to this forum. Firstly I am blown away with the support and strength in this group !

My brother in law is going to have a illeostomy on Sept 3rd in India. He has learning diabilities and is not very good with manipulating his hands/fingers. I want to send him some pouches from here (US) which are easy to use.

Do you have any advice for me ?

Hi Markiv
There is another American based forum for people with a range of stomas for a broad range of reasons. Some of them have severe disabilities and mobility limitations. It might be a great place for you to pose your question as some of them may have the answers you seek. Good luck in your quest and sorry I can't help at all.

Oh people on here are from all over the place! Belgium, Finland, NZ, UK, US, Canada, Japan, Greece, India, Turkey. Indonesia. Singapore.
That's just off the top of my head.

How lovely of you to want to help! I do wonder what type of supplies he is going to get over there. It would be a good idea to find out, then get samples sent to him from those suppliers. Many of the suppliers ARE worldwide so it shouldnt be an issue I would hope.

Try:
Coloplast
Convetec
Salts
Hollister

I use Coloplast Sensura Flex system, and I would recommend this two piece system. Its easy to change the bag because it peels off. Simple.

Good luck!!
