Advice :(

I've been on remix axe infliximab since December now and it only works when I take predniselone with it. Every time I taper off the pred, my pain, nausea and gas come back! And the last 2-3 weeks before my next dose are the worst time for me.

Ay advice guys?

I'm due to see my gi in a couple of weeks and my next dose is next week.

Time for surgery maybe?

Hi. Some people take remicade with another med. Ask your doctor what are your options. I don't know if you are on the 8 week plan. Some do every 6 weeks. I think you have more options before surgery. Hope everything gets better soon.

Are you certain that the symptoms are not from the prednisone taper itself and not because the Remicade is not working without pred as well? Have you talked to your doc about it?
