I had a colonoscopy which failed because the prep didn't clear everything out. The doctor then had me do a MRI enterography which came back normal. I told my doctor that I was still having issues of spending lots of time in the bathroom. They want me to go back to the specialist at Georgetown Hospital which means I would have to hunt for a ride . I don't drive because of coordination issues. I wonder if part of my intestinal issues deal with like last week eating some barbecue Frito's or last night having tofu which has gluten in it. Also, I am currently on prednisone which I found out a couple of nights ago is supposed to be taken with food. That might add fuel to the fire. I could be my own worst enemy. Or should I go to the specialist? Forgive the rant.

Definitely see the specialist since your current doc knows your history well and is recommending it

Prednisone needs to be taken with food stop stomach pain
Not intestinal pain

Foods generally don't trigger flares but they can make a flare worse

As far as transportation upurinsurabce should have a case worker you can contact to help with transportation issues

Good luck

Found out late too prednisone should be taken with food,,,, and ideally with a PPI like omeprazole...
that should help your stomach but not sure about bm... as your CD is in your colon you may be sensitive to some foods yeah. Try liquid diet like ensure in replacement to some meals (that's my actual strategy too)... and see how it is going.
