After Proctocolectomy has your crohns returned

I was reading that if you just have UC then usually having a Proctocolectomy cures you but with crohns its different. Has anyone thats had this have their crohns return? just gathering info before my surgery. What about obstructions I thought having thesurgery was suppose to fix things. Is anyone eating whatever they want now? after they healing of course.

I have dealt with the return of my crohn after total colectomy. It took 10 years before new symptoms to show up though. As far as blocage go. I am lucky to eat anything I want. I have to be cautious with quantity of things more than the nature of things I eat. This differs from one person to another though. I have dealt with a few obstructions since my ileostomy in 1999.
