Allergic to imuran

Just wondering if many others have had a bad reaction to imuran
I ended up in hospital for 5 days with pancreatitis turns out I'm allergic

There are a few on here who have posted that they have ended up with this while on Imuran

Pancreatitis, unfortunately, is at the top of adverse reactions to Imuran. I also had pancreatitis with Imuran at 7 weeks; caught it early, though, and was not hospitalized. Hope you are feeling much better now from the pancreatitis. What meds will you be starting in its place?

would you mind sharing what your symptoms were ?

My daughter is having some new and worsening symptoms and started Imuran one month ago, and I am concerned that this may be a possibility.

I'm have started on methotrexate been on it for about 5 weeks now
My main symptom was upper abdomen pain just on the bottom of the rib cages that radiated to the to my back and I vomited
The pain became so unbearable my blood work had come back as in the 22 000 range

While I had no problems with Imuran, I know that there are others in this forum that have found they were allergic to Imuran. I believe that one of the posters ended up switching to Humira and did well on that medication.
