American picker with crohns

Hey guys I'm a massive fan of the show american pickers as I love old junk and collecting although being on a disability pension and having a very active disease my funds and getting out is limited.

I was doing a bit of research on the stars of the show and accidently found that frank fritz has crohn's and here is an article on him and how he copes with it on the road and he is now an advocate for the disease.

I'm glad more prominent people like him are speaking out about this and rasing awarness here is the link to the article.

The irony for me is that I really got into American Pickers while at home recovering from a right hemi-colectomy. I would never have guessed that Frank had Crohns as he is a pretty well built guy, but I suppose that is true for a lot of us.

Yeah crohns affects everyone diffrently I know someone who has had crohns for 15 years and she has never lost weight from although shes had her fare share of flares
