Hi. I’m new here. A little background. Have had chrons now 10 years. First few on simple med. then had to go on Remicade worked for a few years wonders. Then stopped working. Tried stellara, liver numbers were too high Dr changed me to Entyvio, gave it a 6 month trial yet my calprotectin number just kept on rising till it got to 1700. Changed to humira. Been 6 months in now and my dr happy that calprotectins trajectory is downwards. At 480 now. My rheumatologist who I visited today, as I’ve had the last year joint pains from the inflammation wants to add a biologic. He has suggested Tremfya. He says my inflammation needs to come down quicker and he’s seen success from people on two biologics at once. I’m wary of drugging myself so much. Currently on 40mg humira a week! Also can’t plan a family while on tremfya so scared to try.
Anyone had success with those 2 drugs together? Any side effects? I feel lost if I should just give it a go. Don’t feel the greatest. Actually don’t remember what it is to even feel good anymore! Thanks.
