My family Doctor shared an article with me a few weeks ago showing proof that Humira is now being used to treat Hidradenitis (HS) as well as Crohns. You see I have Crohn's and tried Remicade many years ago, long story short it failed miserably.
Honestly my Crohns is too far gone for help at this point....sure the DR's will tell me no lets try this or that, but I'm not that little 15 year old girl anymore and if growing up in a hospital taught me anything, its to speak up for yourself! I have accepted the next for me with my Crohns will be a permanent bag( I should add that is due to a mis dx that ruined any chance of saving anything for later)
I'm getting too far gone here, back to the point!! My Derm has now suggested I try Humira for my HS. I am honestly not the least bit excited about this. But I will admit my HS is getting much worse and at times it hurts like a son of a gun. Anyone out here on Humira for HS???
If so PLEASE help a friend out and tell me your experience with it. I'm sorry to be rude anyone with any experience with Humira please feel free to tell me about it.
I'm hoping it's not anything like remicade. I'm just finally ready for a little relief from all these good old HS love bits.
