I was just wondering if this is a "thing". H has felt 100% after scopes last week. No pain after eating, great appetite and energy. Does this happen in general?

Funny you say this because my daughter has been in a "flare" for a month and after her scopes was the best I had seen her in awhile. I was wondering the same thing.

Same here, did great for a few days, than all went down hill.

I also saw the other thread. I'll update soon about Grace.
Hus top you both

When DS was younger, age 8 and 10, he'd feel great after scopes, but after his last one at age 16, not so much. He was very weak and tired. Maybe a teen thing? Needs all those extra calories and things now?

Like the others have said though, enjoy it while it lasts!

That's wonderful that so many feel good after scopes. My son has never felt great after scopes. He has had 3 and going in for a fourth next month. He feels tired wiped out after.

Growing up I remember my dad (who also has Crohn's) saying that he never felt as good as he did on the morning of a colonoscopy, clean as a whistle. Now diagnosed myself, I can say that I actually agree. Sometimes the emptiness just feels so good.

I've had seven or eight and I've only fealt good after one of them. Apparently someone was a little rough when it came time to get a biopsy so the doctors gave me a pain killer that was pretty strong. Whatever they gave me made me feel great.
