Anybody ever heard of or tried this??

I have both Crohn's and Asthma so I'm thinking about trying this... Anybody heard of it or been brave enough to try it?? I'm down for anything but even I'm a bit hesitant to putting a Hookworm or Whipworm into my body for months at a time...

I was thinking about trying it when i was really sick, but right now the meds seem to be working so no need for that haha. But if you want to do it do it, we already have millions of worms and bacteria all over us, and even inside of us. And they are invisable to the human eye, so its not even like you would know lol.

this is odd i know there was a thing i saw on the news about a company sending out diet pills but the catch was you only had to take one, they didnt say what was in it, but it was found out that it was tapeworm eggs in it so you would take the one pill, get a tapeworm and lose weight without knowing you had a tapeworm till it was too late and yu had to go to the drs. it was not good man. but the whole probiotic thig sounds safe and is approved by food ppl, yea i forget what theyre called lol, so yea i would just make sure where ever you got it from was a reliable and safe source and youll be okkie dokkie!!^-^

Makes me squrim to even think about worms! Can't you get your probiotics from yogurt? LOL

This is my personal account of curing my asthma and hayfever by deliberately infesting myself with the intestinal parasite hookworm.

It isn't for the faint hearted and for some should not be read while eating.

It involves a great deal of research, a trip to Cameroon and a lot of barefoot walking in open air latrines in west Africa.

I think I even found a legitimate American doctor who has opened up shop just on the Mexican side of the border that offers this treatment. It was a bit too much $$$thousands for me to consider and in the end I decided to wait til more research was done and it was offered in the states. Evidently, if you have a valid US prescription for these worms you can have them legally shipped from ...I think there is a single company in Germany that cultures them in a single environment and then ships them to universities for research purposes. The trick is finding a doc that would prescribe it since it's a nonstandard sort of thing that opens them up to lawsuits. I abandoned the idea and now my latest "quack" interest is the role that carbohydrates play in inflammatory diseases.

It's not just any old sort of hookworm, can't remember the details. The infestation I don't think is a big deal at all a single pill rids them in a matter of hours unlike other parasites.
