Anyone know anything about Gastritis?

Has anyone ever had gastritis? I have this annoying pain....I don't even know if I'd call it pain, but more like a feeling of fullness in my upper left abdominal area (a little under my ribs). It's weird because that's not even where my inflammation generally is (my inflammation is lower right), and right now I'm on 40 mg of Prednisone so I am as close to symptom free as I have been in years.....no right side pain and very little blood in stool. I've had 2 ultrasounds and they said the organs look normal....I have an appointment with my GP tomorrow to see what it possibly could be since my GI doctor doesn't seem to know if it's Crohn's related.

Anyway, I feel like no one can figure out what I have....I saw something about Gastritis and thought I'd see if anyone had experienced that before and if that could possibly be what's causing my symptoms. Or really any thought would be helpful....I don't think it's a blockage as I am having regular BMs.....
 
I have gastritis and get the fullness feeling a fair bit, also get pain sometimes pretty intense but then disSapears... Pred can cause gastritis, your doc will probably prescribe a proton pump inhibitor I.e nexium
 
I have gastritis. It was diagnosed with an endoscopy. Apparently there's not a good match between levels of inflammation and symptoms though, i.e. you can have inflammation with no symptoms, or minor inflammation with symptoms which are more severe.

I don't really know what symptoms I have from gastritis. I have severe reflux and delayed stomach emptying, which could well be causing the pains and fullness I get. Reflux can lead to gastritis. I'm not sure what is cause and what is consequence anymore.

Anyway, I feel like no one can figure out what I have....I saw something about Gastritis and thought I'd see if anyone had experienced that before and if that could possibly be what's causing my symptoms. Or really any thought would be helpful....I don't think it's a blockage as I am having regular BMs.....

If you had a blockage, you'd know about it - you'd have unbearable pain. Your pain might be heartburn maybe?

As Joshuaaa says, pred can make these types of stomach problems worse.
 
I have gastritis, dueodenitis, ileitis, hiatal hernia, and Crohn's. I have never had a tummy problem before so it freaked me

Trying the natural method that's not working so well right now. I DO NOT recommend this to anyone.
 
I hate cell phones... Anyway it freaked me out to feel that fullness feeling and the burning is not like acid burning as you can feel it when the food/water/whatever hits the stomach area.Dxed br endoscopy. Seems Humira can cause it and/or Crohn's. It is improving but rears its head now and again.

I have gastritis too. Also I have Crohns on the right side but when Im in a flare my left side hurts under my rib cage its so strange..I take a pro-biotic also.
 
I've had gastritis while on prednisone too. It was because I wasn't taking omeprazole, which I normally do while on pred. It went away once I started taking omeprazole. I normally just had lots of higher up pains and was always nauseous. I always felt full and felt like if I ate, I would throw up
