Aunt in Hospital, need support

My Aunty is in ICU right now and I'm not sure what to think or do. She had her entire bowel removed years ago and has a bag in its place. She was diagnosed 16yrs ago with Crohns but I didn't know it was going to cause so much pain. She's a remarkable woman who has managed to have a family but Crohns has bitten again and now her heart is in trouble which is another cause of Crohns. I'm telling u this because I want to make people with Crohns realise it's not something that should be taken lightly and once people start having bowel operations then there becomes a time when there is nothing left to operate on. My Aunty is now fighting for life due to getting sick and having a low immune system caused from Crohns and now her heart is giving way also due to Crohns. I hope my Aunty will live but it doesn't look promising. Please don't take Crohns lightly!! All the best

Hi Cherrylips. Sorry your aunt is so poorly. It is a horrid diesease with lots of hidden complications. It affects a lot more than just the bowels. People who dont have crohns dont realise this !!. I wish your aunt n yourself all the very best n hope she gets through this. Take care hun

Oh cherry lips,I am so sorry to hear about your aunt. She really has been through so much and now this. I hope she isn't in pain. Wishing wisdom to Drs treating her, that they may have some new ideas for her.
