auto immune

auto immune is my middle name, in that i have a disease of the eye that is ai, diabetes-ai, multiple sclerosis-ai, crohns-ai, and a blood pressure issue which is ai associated.

i take medications aplenty, and corticosteroids are out of the question for me.

i have had a capsule study which got stuck in my gut, and two surgeries as well as 2-3 blockages.

A doc once told me that once you get one auto-immune disease you will continue to collect more, unless you make some drastic changes to lifestyle, eating, etc. Over the years I finally understood that my diet was not perhaps the healthiest, not exercising enough , etc. and then learning how to deal with stress. I consider each day a learning experience and keep reading up on health and nutrition and trying to improve my diet. If not for today, then what may come in the next decade or so. I know what I begin today will affect me later in life as well, so I need to make immediate improvements. I am learning more, more recently, on the immune system and began an aggressive defense attack by taking Natren Healthy Trinity probiotics. I am taking a few a day and realizing that has made dramatic changes. I will scale back to 1/day once I am balanced, but my doc said the healthy bacteria needs to outweigh the unhealthy bacteria in the stomach so my immune system can get stronger and heal.
