Hey everyone, I was just curious on how many pills everyone takes a day. I am currently taking " 12 mesalamine" " 3 entocort" " "1 omeprazole" "1 multivitamin" " 1 zolpidem for sleeping occasionally" and now " 3 amoxicillin for tooth infection" also " B-12 shot once a month" and soon will start cimzia after teeth removal, anyway I have to take 20 pills a day. oh by the way, I hate taking pills.

Before my Crohn's diagnosis, I never took pills. I wouldn't even take a Tylenol for a headache. Once I started taking sulfasalazine and realizing that it made me feel better, I quickly got over that.
I think that the most ever had to take in one day was 18, but I swear I'd rather take 50 pills a day then be in a flare.

I used to take around 108 pills in a week during my pentasa days. Now I'm on humira, a tapering dose of pred, prilosec, a multivitamin, vitamin D, and soon iron. So a biweekly shot and eight pills daily. Nine when I add the iron back in.

On a daily basis, I take:
2x Entocort
1x Omeprazole
1x Amitriptyline
1x multivitamin
1x calcium (chewable, but I'm counting it as a pill)
2x vitamin d
1x vitamin b12
1x peppermint capsule
1x ginger capsule
2x cranberry capsule
1x biotin
And as needed, Tylenol, Lomotil, Zofran

So 14+ pills per day for me. And I'm not even fully diagnosed yet!

1x fluoxetine
2x azathioprine
8x pentasa
1x multivitamin
2x vit D
1x fish oil

Plus paracetamol, codeine, antacids etc as needed- but that's pretty rare these days!
