Back...finally

Hello everyone! I'm back!! It's been quite a few months since I've been here, or even been able to read any of the threads on here.

As some of you know, I've been trying to deal with a corneal ulcer. Well, over the summer the ulcer got infected and caused a perforation in my cornea. It's only now that I'm actually able to sit here and look at this very white screen! I wear a patch over my bad eye, and my doctor says it will take about a year to fully heal. When the perforation happened I was pretty lucky that I was in to see the doctor anyway, so they did a repair right there on the spot (they put a drop of glue over the hole and a contact on top of that to protect the eye). I have to say that the repair hurt more than the perforation! But, things are on the mend, and hopefully will continue to improve.

Aside from the eye issue, things are great health-wise with me. Oscar's third birthday is coming up in December and I've never been happier

Hi Nyx nice to see you back! I've started Humira since you've been gone and it has made some of my minor symptoms start to go away.

I hope your eye ulcer is well and truly on the mend and you can ditch the lady pirate look very soon. Although I have no doubt you make it look very swashbuckling!
