Sorry team, its not a cure...

Soooo...I was away for work for a few days & found this stuff called 'triple-ply toilet paper'

Now at home we use the Tesco Value brand loo roll, which is (I think single + 0.5 ply) and is closer to sandpaper than any other kind of paper. BUT never again I say! I have found my tiny bathroom bliss!

Hey who knows, maybe we can sort a corporate rate out...now to find that funky little Andrex dog

I generally just go for what's on sale but I do stay away from one ply. Its like butt murder. It seriously looks like a brutal crime scene after every wipe.

My favorite at the moment is Scott Extra Soft. Its durable and doesn't leave flaky bits everywhere and tends to have more sheets per roll. Glad you found something that works for you.

I don't have CD but I refuse to buy anything but the best for my butt!

We get to the toilet paper aisle and hubby starts looking at the cheap stuff and I give him the death stare and well...the cheap stuff stays on the shelf.

I mean hells bells, we girls have to sit and wipe every time we go, whereas the guys have the luxury of a shake and a thank ya mother for the rabbits!

Dusty. :)

The kids have one type of paper in their bathroom. The downstairs bathroom has something I can tolerate, but not the most squishy there is. In the master bath we keep the best of the best TP.

A couple months ago Stacy forgot what I liked and bought something that looked soft enough. I thought it looked strange when he brought it home as it's kinda ribbed (for my pleasure?), but he was very right. I think it's Cottonelle or something like that. It's just lovely!

My other recent discovery was flushable wipes for my youngest's bum. I got them on a whim, but ended up buying another package for the master bath. They're so great when it really hurts back there and the thought of TP makes your eyes water.

*sigh* Where else can you talk about potty paper as if it's the worst or most wonderful thing in the world?

Ooooo, that's what I buy...Kleenex Cottonelle.

My TP of choice is Charmin ultra soft. Love that stuff! I also like the Cottonelle moist flushable wipes, in the little cute container where the next one pops up, like a kleenex box. :) Before I became ill, I'd just get whatever TP was on sale. Never again! I once made the mistake of getting Charmin ultra strong instead of the ultra soft - eek! I may as well have taken a cheese grater to my backside! That stuff was rougher than tree bark!

Thanks so much for the TP tips! Amazing what you can pick up here!:yoshijumpjoy: My son had a 'runny' day yesterday that started at the arena and, apparently, they DON'T use Cottonelle! I will look for the flushable wipes! Definitely seems like something he could have used yesterday! Thanks!

Ditto on the Charmin ultra soft! I used to be much more of a cheapskate and would buy whatever was on sale, tried this stuff and have not gone back! I also have flushable "toddler wipes" I buy at Target (for the kids ya know...)
They are nice to have around for those really bad days.

good toilet paper is essnetial! At work they have awful one ply, after a few days at work when things were really bad and I was having several bathroom visits a day it was like wiping my butt with sandpaper, bad bad bad!

I only use Cottenelle in the purple bag. I discovered it shortly after being diagnosed years ago and it's all I will use. If I travel while in a flare, I pack my own TP because hotel TP is just horrible.

I bought something similar for prepping for my surgery. It didn't help. But I do like using them on those "hard to clean" days.

We usually buy the recycled paper TP.
