I was diagnosed with Crohns back in October 2023 and then had surgery in January 2024 for a perianal abscess, where I have had 3 setons inserted. The crohns is somewhat under control, however any bowel movements I have are sudden and if I need to go, well, I have to go.My main problem is the setons. They trap a lot of the bowel movement, making wiping extremely difficult, so much so that after a bowel movement I will simply wash myself down in the shower. It is the only way to guarantee I am clean.I have gotten used to this, however this is very problematic at work. My office is an hour's drive from home and there are no facilities there to sort myself out should the worst happen. The problem is that most days, the bowel movements begin to occur within an hour of the working day. I then have to fight them like crazy until the end of the day, by which point i have soiled myself to varying degrees.Has anyone had any experiences like this and have an effective solution for managing setons after a bowel movement?
