We went to see my surgeon yesterday and he took my stomach drain tube out it was causing me so much pain I could barley pee :(

I was all ready real nausea when he started working on me he numbed me to DIG the stitches out that they did under the tube :( and then about 35 minutes or so later they pulled it out.........

The nausea just got worse and worse and by 5pm I was vomiting and back in the ER
dehydrated when I just had 2 HUGE bags @ ER todays before.... heart rate 140 again and just a mess I am down to 89lbs.

I find out yesterday that known of my meds will go through my body now KNOWN .... that they have to be liquid or crushed to eat.Any advice on this from anyone? I dont feel its right like that has to be a easier way about this?

The surgeons would not let me come home they said I had to stay until we could get me better. So far the plan on Monday is to put a picline in for nutrition treatment because they believe its ALL coming back out in my bag :sign0085:
I am so so tired and even tireder of pain and being back and forth to the hospital.
I hope I get better I hope I made the right decision things like this make you wonder??

I don't really have any advice for you, but I wanted to say I am so sorry you are having so much trouble. :(
You are in the right place being in the hospital if you are in that much pain. At least they will be able to try and keep it managed there.

Big hugs to you!!

The Picc line for nutrition is a good idea...I was on that for 2 weeks after my surgery and it made a huge difference. Sorry you're having trouble, but being in the hospital is the best place for you right now. They can keep an eye on you and make sure you're getting the nutrition you need. Take care!

It's good you're back in the hospital so they can monitor you.
I'm sorry you're having a hard time with it. I really sympathize.
I'm three weeks post surgery. The first eight days were horrendous and I thought that I may have made a terrible mistake. I felt terribly unwell, nausea robbed me of sleep and energy, I vomited constantly. It was just horrible.
It is only in the past week that I have started to really feel better.
Hang in there - it will pass. I had one point where I just wanted to give up - but my mum talked me through it.
You will feel better.

THANK you all.... I wanted to give up yesterday I know what you mean.... I told my husband just leave me lay there to die please :( but its so hard as you can see by my pics I have 2 sons so I am trying so hard to FIGHT and keep fighting!!!
