Bad day today - Cocodomol

Hey guys, had a bad stomach last night and I dropped one 30/500 cocodomol. Woke up today with my stomach burning and I dont feel right. I use cocodomol regularly and this isnt normal. Any ideas?

Is Cocodomol OK to take with Crohns? The reason I ask is that aspirin & ibuprofen can aggravate your symptoms and I know that when I was in hospital last year they would not give me Cocodomol only tramedol and I take paracetamol if I have pain as it doesn't aggravate my Crohns.
If you are really in a lot of pain I would suggest either going to casualty or phoning your consultant to get their advice.

Looks like you react to 30/500s the same as I do! The codeine in it completely mucks my bowel up altogether. Last time I took them, it was 10 weeks ago just Sunday past, and that was the start of my flare up. I was constipated and in mega mega pain for two or three days, then the D started and it hasnt stopped!

I'd stay away from them if I were you, your body is obviously telling you it cant handle it anymore I used to be fine on them as well, but I'll never take them again.

Last time I was in hospital doctor told me Cocodomol has got yeast in them so aggravates the gut. She gave me co-drydamol and 30mg of codine. Which seem to work well for me(Idont take them together). I only take them before bed or if I am staying in they make me really drozy. Hope you feel better soon. XXX
