Barium, Opposite effect?

I had a small-bowel follow through today, I've had one 4 years ago, NBD, I knew what to expect. Except this time, the barium was through my system in 40 minutes, and I was passing it within an hour. It's suppose to be constipating is it not? Last time it was At least a day before I saw any in my stool. This time I had D all morning, sometimes just pure liquid (sorry for the graphic). Anybody ever had this effect to Barium? (I have no diagnoses for Crohn's as of yet, so far they are calling my condition "complex perianal disease", whatever that means)

I had a barium CT in April. Before I drank the liquid, the nurse told me it would give me D, and it did. I assume based on the nurse's comment that that the contrast liquid works that way now.

Interesting, my nurse told me exactly the opposite but good to know. As if I needed more D than I already have.

It gave me horrible diarrhea and abdominal cramps. The nurse told me as I was leaving that it may cause some "loose stools". It was way beyond that for two days!

Greatttt, just what i needed to read before i go for my Ba-meal test, oooh i have so much to look forward too. Maybe some answers would be good too.
